•Identify ways to support specific safety, health & sustainability opportunities and risks, ensuring activities comply with all Safety, Health & Environmental requirements.
•Ensuring compliance to mine and legal standards and procedures - Reg 2.19.1 and 2.19.2 of the Minerals Act.
•Regular risk assessments, monitoring safety performance of operations and incident investigations.
•Provide on demand training, and regular reporting
Candidate Requirements
•8+ Years Experience , with 3+ Years as Safety Officer
•Diploma in Safety / Risk Management/Engineering or equivalent at NQF 6 – Trade certificate necessary
•SAMTRAC
•COMSOCO 1 + 2
•Incident investigation training
• TMM and RBE risk management knowledge
•MS Office proficiency
