Candidate Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology (e.g., Clinical, Counselling, or Educational) – equivalent to Irish QQI Level 8.
- Doctoral qualification or equivalent postgraduate degree recognised by bodies like the PSSA.
- At least 60 days of supervised clinical placement.
- HPCSA registration as a psychologist.
- Demonstrable skills and clinical competency in your discipline.
- At least 5 years of post-graduate experience (2 years post-qualification).
- Previous leadership and supervision experience.
- Eligibility to practice in Ireland via qualification recognition (Directive 2005/36/EC or national route).
- Detailed internship documentation including client profiles and supervision.
- For Educational Psychologists: minimum of 120 days supervised placements across education levels.
- PSI recognition or eligibility is essential for HSE-funded/public sector roles.
