We have an amazing opportunity for a Junior Financial Manager at a leading transport and logistics firm based in Cape Town!

The main purpose of this role is:

·        To support the Financial Manager in ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, and efficient operational finance within a fast-paced transport environment. This position is ideal for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a senior financial role.

We require a candidate with:

·        A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (BCom or equivalent)

·        Completed SAICA, SAIPA, or CIMA articles

·        At least 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounting or a similar finance role

·        Experience preparing financial statements and handling tax compliance (VAT, PAYE)

·        Previous exposure to the transport or logistics industry (advantageous)

·        Strong knowledge of accounting principles and South African financial regulations

·        Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using Sage Evolution, Pastel, or similar systems

·        Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills

·        The ability to work both independently and collaboratively under pressure

·        Familiarity with fleet cost allocations, route profitability, and NBCRFLI-related finance is a plus
