Brief Job Description:

Regent Imports Overseas Stock:

• Costings for overseas and local suppliers
• GRV’ing all overseas stock once costing is done. 
• Document registration
• Verifying overseas supplier invoices
• Informing Sales Coordinator that stock has been receipted so that it can be invoiced including stock for back orders

Ordering from suppliers:

·        Loading purchase orders

·        Liaising with suppliers about delivery information, paperwork, stock issues etc. when necessary

·        Receiving supplier invoices

·        Create shipment check-sheet and forwarding to Imports warehouse

·        Receive feedback from Imports Receiving Supervisor on stock against check-sheet

·        GRN stock on system

·        Send supplier invoices to accounts department timeously for payment.

Accounts:

• Updating goods in transit report for accounts department
• Updating marine insurance report

·        Assist auditors with document requests during financial year end audit

Customers:

• Have knowledge to assist when sales coordinator is not available with quotations and invoicing
• Handling of enquiries on stock availability and pricing
• Processing day to day orders and back orders as required by customers and ensuring delivery is made timeously
