iStore, Africa’s largest Apple Premium Reseller, is seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Store Manager to support the leadership team at our Dunes Mall location in Namibia.
In this role, you will partner with the Store Manager to lead daily operations, ensure world-class customer experiences, and support the development and performance of the store team. You will play a key part in driving sales, maintaining operational excellence, and creating a culture of learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in achieving store sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth operations across all departments.
- Step into the Store Manager role in their absence, ensuring continuity in leadership and performance.
- Coach and mentor team members, helping them grow and reach their potential.
- Contribute to team motivation, development, and performance management.
- Ensure operational processes (stock, systems, opening/closing, reporting) are followed correctly and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards in visual merchandising and Apple brand presentation.
- Actively resolve customer concerns and ensure all customer interactions are handled with professionalism and care.
- Analyze store performance and work with the Store Manager to implement strategies for improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO).
- 3+ years’ experience in a customer-facing retail leadership role.
- Proven ability to support, lead, and inspire a team in a high-paced retail environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A customer-first mindset with a strong understanding of service excellence.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Passion for technology, learning, and innovation.
- Willingness to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
