Calling all Workshop Foremen!
Are you a seasoned Workshop Foreman searching for your next career opportunity in the Western Cape? Here is an opportunity that might be for you!
As Workshop Foreman, you’ll ensure adherence to a planned maintenance schedule for a fleet (trucks, forklifts, and other diesel vehicles), including attending to breakdowns. Part of your fleet management duties will include securing sufficient spare parts and conducting quality checks on repaired vehicles.
We need a natural leader capable of effective management and sound customer relations (both internal and external). Knowledge of budgets in order to offer input in the budgeting process and cost monitoring and analysis is also required.
Candidate Requirements
Job requirements:
§ Qualified Red Seal trade tested Diesel Mechanic
§ 5+ years’ post trade test experience, with 3-5 years’ experience in a managerial role
§ Computer literate
§ Sound technical knowledge (trucks, forklifts, and other diesel vehicles)
§ Valid Code EC driver’s license with a valid PDP or forklift license is advantageous
§ Procurement experience
