Location: Remote for South African-based applicants
Salary: R45 000 - R65 000 per month, based on experience

An established Australian vehicle assessment company, recognised for delivering independent and objective reports for the insurance and legal industries, is expanding its remote team. They are seeking an experienced Vehicle Assessor to join them in a fully remote capacity from South Africa.

Minimum Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in vehicle assessing, including both physical and desktop inspections.
Strong technical background with panel beating, spray painting, or automotive repair knowledge.
Experience working with Australian insurers or assessment standards is highly advantageous.
Proven ability to assess repair methods, labour rates, and cost estimates accurately.
High attention to detail with excellent written communication skills.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internal reporting tools.
Ability to work independently and meet tight turnaround times.
Reliable internet connection, personal hardware, and a quiet, professional home workspace.
Must be available during Australian business hours (minimum 4-hour overlap).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed desktop assessments of motor vehicle damage based on supplied reports, technical data, and imagery.
Review and validate repair costs and methods according to Australian standards.
Identify potential discrepancies or inflated estimates.
Prepare detailed, objective reports for insurers, legal clients, and brokers.
Support complex claim assessments, including dispute resolution.
Deliver concise and factual assessments with rapid turnaround times.
