  • Manage and support OneDrive and SharePoint.
  • Manage office 365 tenants for multiple client bases.
  • Manage Local and cloud backup solutions for multiple clients (Veeam Cloud backups, AZURE LOCAL BACKUPS, Cobian backups, etc, Synology nas devices).
  • Managing multiple VPN hosts (Sophos firewall, Ubiquity).
  • Manage and maintain PBX Grand stream VOIP telephones.
  • Proactively monitor the work queues and provide support to clients where the ticket is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.
  • Work independently, with general direction from the client, stakeholders, team lead or senior manager, to perform operational tasks to resolve all incidents / requests in a timely manner within agreed SLA. Timely and consistent updates of tickets with resolution tasks performed.
  • Setting up Access points expanding networks (Wired and mesh systems).
  • Replacing and activating cameras on CCTV nvr’s.
  • Ensuring our servers are in good health and updated frequently.
  • Managing Xneelo self-managed servers.
  • Managing a VM Cluster (11 virtual machines Running on a Nutanix) this includes the PBX configuration and the network licenses, CALs Licenses etc.
  • Managing the SOPHOS Firewall and VPN (Understanding of open vpns configurations).
  • Asset management and auditing.
  • Troubleshooting with (AUTOCAD 3D, Plant 3d, Advanced Steel, Navis Manage, Draft-sight, Solidworks).
  • Creating Supporting documents if they do not already exist.
  • Using Active directory to control domains and security policies.
  • Managing point to point air fibre antennas.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 Years experience in the IT Support Engineer field
  • Driver’s license and Own Car (required)
  • Fully Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience in the IT Support Engineer field
