We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Junior Procurement Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone starting out in the procurement or admin field, with a strong focus on data capturing, record keeping, and supporting the procurement team with administrative tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately capture purchase order information, supplier details, and pricing into procurement systems or spreadsheets.

Assist with maintaining up-to-date records of supplier information and procurement documentation.

Support the procurement team with administrative duties including filing, document scanning, and updating databases.

Follow up with internal departments to confirm order details, delivery timelines, and receipt of goods.

Ensure all procurement data is entered correctly and consistently to support reporting and audit readiness.

Help prepare basic procurement reports and summaries as required.

Communicate with suppliers for basic information requests and status updates.

Assist with checking invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes

Provide general administrative support to the procurement team, including filing, scanning, and data entry.

Required Skills

Administrator: 2 to 3 years

Candidate Requirements

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Basic computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word, experience in Sage would be beneficial.

Willingness to learn procurement processes and tools.

Ability to work well as part of a team and take initiative when needed.

Matric or equivalent required
