At Cryptopia, we are committed to delivering high-quality services while ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SACPCMP Registered Safety Officer to join our team for an upcoming project in the beautiful George area of the Western Cape.

Position Overview:
As a Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining safety standards on site and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Your expertise will help create a culture of safety and minimize risks for our workforce and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor safety management systems on-site. 
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments. 
- Develop and deliver safety training and induction programs. 
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety compliance at all stages of the project. 
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement. 
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry best practices. 
- Foster a culture of safety awareness among all site personnel.

Requirements:
- SACPCMP Registration as a Safety Officer is mandatory. 
- Relevant Health and Safety qualifications. 
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or civil engineering industry. 
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations. 
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

What We Offer:
- R30 000 - R35 000 per month. ( Salary    could be more depending on the billable hours you put in @ R200 per hour )
