We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Role: Project Developer – Renewable Energy

Industry: Renewable Energy (Solar, Wind, BESS & Hybrid Projects)

Level: Mid-Level

Key Requirements:

•           Tertiary degree (preferably in Renewables)

•           3+ years’ experience in renewable energy project development

•           Proven ability to identify and secure new project sites

•           Experience managing development of solar, wind, BESS, and hybrid energy projects

•           Strong grasp of the complete project development lifecycle – technical, commercial, and regulatory

•           Skilled in budget management and coordinating external consultants

•           Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively (nationally and internationally)

•           Tertiary education in a technical or commercial field

•           Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and common project management tools

Personal Attributes:

•           Self-driven and motivated with excellent organizational skills

•           Strong communication and negotiation skills

•           Confident in representing the company to landowners, authorities, partners, and local communities

•           A proactive team player with a solution-oriented mindset
