Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in server and storage engineering to join our dynamic remote team. The role requires a hands-on technical expert with strong experience across virtualisation, storage, backup solutions, and VDI. You will be responsible for supporting critical infrastructure environments remotely, both in the UK and internationally, and be an instrumental part of delivering robust, scalable IT solutions.
The ideal candidate will be highly autonomous, proactive in solving infrastructure issues, and capable of leading infrastructure-related projects such as hardware refreshes, storage expansions, and data centre migrations.


Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage resilient server and storage infrastructure solutions to ensure optimal reliability and performance.
Install and configure server hardware and software with a focus on security and performance optimisation.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
Maintain accurate records of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and changes.
Collaborate closely with IT and application teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Lead technical infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
