Candidate Requirements

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze current production processing within all departments.
• Identify gaps and inefficiencies within the processes
• Design and implement systems and processes to improve resource optimization (people skills and improve usage of machinery and tools for accuracy and cost effectiveness)
• Do time studies and collect data within all departments in Production – document the findings and make recommendations to improve production output.
• Ensure that the production plan is managed accordingly and that it is adhered to.
• Be able to report on production figures daily / weekly / monthly.
• Discuss production updates as well as any faults / downtime to the Production Manager.
• Assist with any urgent jobs that may have to be done.
• Assist with health and safety protocols in the factory.

 
 
Skills / Qualifications

• Industrial Engineering qualifications - mandatory
• 2-3 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must be able to work under pressure and must be good with time management.
• Must be able to work outside of normal working hours (including weekends).
• Must work as part of a team and be able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• High proficiency in MS Office, with particular focus on Excel.
• Able to read drawing preferred
