Are you a legally qualified professional with a knack for commercial contracts and a proactive work ethic? Hire Resolve's client is looking for a driven Legal Assistant to join their team in Stellenbosch.

Key Requirements:

• Legal qualification essential (BCom Law preferred).

• Experience in commercial law required; litigation experience acceptable but not ideal.

• Exposure to a small-scale law firm advantageous.

• Must be comfortable handling contracts and legal documents independently.

• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, and managing a variety of commercial contracts and legal documents.

• Conducting basic legal research and interpreting relevant laws and regulations.

• Supporting internal teams with legal and compliance queries.

• Ensuring documents are accurate, consistent, and aligned with company processes.

• Assisting in refining and improving internal contract and legal workflows.

Ideal Candidate:

• Smart, practical, and not afraid to take initiative.

• Strong common sense and professional maturity.

• Comfortable learning the ins and outs of a specialised business environment.

• Open to younger professionals with relevant experience.
