Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to help grow our business. Our company is a leading apprenticeship and training provider specialising in the digital sector, primarily operating in Scotland and across the UK.

The ideal candidate is a qualified marketer with experience in SEO and PPC advertising, particularly on Google, LinkedIn, and Meta. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our services to businesses and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Plan, implement, and monitor digital marketing campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
✅ Google Ads (AdWords & Display): Build and manage campaigns on Google Search Network and Google Display Network.
✅ SEO Optimization: Enhance website visibility and traffic through strategic SEO techniques.
✅ Website Management: Make necessary updates and modifications to our WordPress site.
✅ LinkedIn Ads: Create and manage LinkedIn ad campaigns for lead generation and brand awareness.
✅ Creative Design: Design engaging graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for social media and marketing purposes.
✅ Social Media Management: Schedule and manage social media content to maintain a strong online presence.
✅ Email Marketing: Develop and distribute email marketing campaigns using automation software.
✅ PPC Advertising: Design and manage pay-per-click (PPC) advertising to maximise ROI.
✅ Marketing Literature: Create compelling course and programme literature for both digital and print distribution.
✅ Market Analysis: Gather and analyse client and learner feedback to improve marketing efforts.
✅ Client Marketing Support: Perform marketing tasks and campaign management for clients as needed.
✅ General Support: Assist the marketing team with ad-hoc duties when required.

Role Requirements:

✔️ Well-organised, reliable, and creative with a strong attention to detail.
✔️ Previous experience in a marketing role, preferably within the digital or training sector.
✔️ Proven experience in SEO, PPC, and digital advertising.
✔️ Strong analytical skills to assess marketing performance and drive improvements.
✔️ Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
✔️ Knowledge of Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and social media management tools.
✔️ Proficiency in WordPress and website management.
✔️ Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
✔️ Strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
📂 A portfolio of previous work is advantageous.
📊 Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
