Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Determines product mix, stock levels, and service standards

Formulates and implements purchasing and marketing policies and sets prices

Promotes and advertises the establishment's goods and services
-
Sells goods and services to customers and advises them on product use
-
Maintains records of stock levels and financial transactions

Undertakes budgeting for the establishment

Controls selection, training, and supervision of staff
-
Ensures compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory:
-
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or proven leadership experience in a retail environment.
-
Demonstrated experience with inventory control systems, POS systems, and bookkeeping software.
-
Proven experience in managing fast food and/or bakery operations.
-
Experience in supervising and training staff within a Human Resources and Work Health & Safety framework.
Desired:
-
Previous experience working and living in regional remote communities.
-
Experience leading an indigenous workforce.
-
Food Safety Supervisor certificate, Forklift HRWL, and an open “C” Class driver’s license.
Essential Skills & Attributes:

Strong multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, databases, and related software.

A sound understanding of indigenous culture and the unique challenges of remote community operations.
