Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Manager to oversee financial operations for their abattoir and associated farm operations. This role requires a qualified CA (SA) with 2-3 years of commercial experience.

Responsibilities: 

• Debtors and creditors departments
• Treasury functions
• Intercompany loan reconciliations
• Exports accounting and FEC functions
• Insurance management
• Process and control improvements
• Documentation and self-audit functions
• Provisions and accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly management results preparation and analysis
• Fixed asset register management
• Annual budget preparation
• Financial statements preparation
• Audit document preparation
• Assisting the CEO with various projects and responsibilities

Requirements:

• CA (SA) qualification
• 2-3 years of commercial financial experience
• Related work experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• High attention to detail
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable transportation
