Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers? We are looking for a Full Function Accountant to join our dynamic team and manage all aspects of financial accounting.

Position: Full Function Accountant
Location: Western Cape (remote)
Industry: FMCG
Experience: 10 years in a similar role

Key Responsibilities:

Handle the full accounting cycle, from capturing transactions to preparing financial statements.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger accounts.
Prepare monthly management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Assist in year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, PAYE, and other statutory requirements.

Requirements:

Relevant accounting qualification (BCom in Accounting or equivalent).
10 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
