An international company operating in the Information Technology, Transport & Logistics industry has a vacancy for a Sales Coordinator to join their Sales & Marketing Team. As an Account Manager, your primary role is to drive sales growth and profitability within your assigned region. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies and building and maintaining relationships with key customers. Your focus will be on maximizing revenue, expanding customer footprint, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to identify market trends, assess competitive threats, and execute plans to capitalize on opportunities.
This is a permanent in-house position with medical aid, provident fund, group life, and quarterly sales incentives – subject to sales target eligibility. A hybrid working model with SA travel (Passport and driver’s license essential)
Key Responsibilities:
· Implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets within the region.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and channel partners.
· Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
· Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends within the region.
· Demonstrate commercial competence and increase customer utilization of both existing and new corridors.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications and Experience required:
· Matric essential.
· Business Management/Project Management/Sales Diploma/Degree/Certifications.
· Valid Driver’s License and Passport.
· At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Sales Account Manager.
· Previous experience or current experience in a customer and/or consumer-focused role.
· Experience in logistics, financial services, financial technology, or consumer financial services is preferred.
· Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and other stakeholders.
· Analytical mindset: Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
· Results-oriented: Strong focus on achieving or exceeding sales targets.
· Customer focus: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and relevant stakeholders.
