Responsibilities:
- System Design for Access Control, CCTV & Fire Detection Systems.
- Compiling of Check Sheets in excel format.
- Reading & understanding site plans for device location, able to quantify drawings against BOQ.
- Cabinet & Panel wiring as well as terminations
- Quality Control & Site inspections.
- Delegation of tasks to be completed by technicians on site.
- Site Supervision, Technician guidance & Support
- Troubleshoot & resolve technical issues related to CCTV, Access Control & Fire Systems
- System testing & commissioning
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation details, check sheets, maintenance activities, and service requests.
- Manage progress reports and project schedules
- Client Communication & relations, email & telephone
- Handle on site meetings
- Time management for tight deadline
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the electronic security industry
- Matric
- PSIRA registered
- SAQCC registered – Commissioner Level
- Installation experience
- Impro Portal – Level 3 or higher *
- Gallagher – Access Technician *
- Milestone – MCIT *
- Avigilon – ACC6 or higher
- IT Networking experience – understands VLANs, LAN and IP assignments
- Fire Detection – Ziton or Technoswitch or Vesda
- Computer Literacy – MS Office
- Project Management experience (5yrs) or certification
- Drivers License – own vehicle
