Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent, detailed orientated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in the mortgage origination industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the processing of home loan applications, including gathering client information, completing required documentation, and liaising with lenders.
- Provide general administrative support, including creating and organising files, creating and maintaining databases, and preparing reports.
- Communicate effectively to collect necessary information, answer inquiries, and provide updates on the status of loan applications.
- Assist with home loan document preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Manage incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries and ensuring timely responses.
- Collecting or dropping off documents, as and when required.
- Support the team in resolving issues or concerns that may arise, demonstrating a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive client information, adhering to data protection and privacy regulations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the business through collaboration, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12
- Own vehicle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Additional education or training in finance or administration advantageous
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within the financial services or real estate industry advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and courteous demeanour
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and a willingness to learn
- Knowledge of home loans advantageous
- Committed to upholding strong ethical standards
- Maintain customer service excellence at all times
- Honest, trustworthy, and reliable
