The opportunity:
We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. You must have at least one year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist and preferably in a hospital/ community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Occupational Therapist you will:
- Conduct client assessments & therapy from paediatric to adult clientele depending on your experience and interests.
- Be able to work independently and efficiently
- Be able to solve both clinical and non-clinical problems in day-to-day work.
- Be flexible and comfortable to work in the community
- Be confident with clinical reasoning skills across a variety of conditions.
- Be involved in liaising with multiple stakeholders regarding patient care.
- Be able to oversee and manage other individuals
Key Requirements:
To be successful in the role of an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Have a minimum of 1 years experience as an Occupational Therapist preferably in a community setting or hospital.
- Be able to understand new systems and processes in an efficient manner.
- Demonstrate a passion for continuing to learn and grow in both a clinical and non-clinical perspective.
- Have an ambitious personality and be able to think of innovative ideas solve day to day problems.
- Demonstrate a willingness to progress your career from a clinical perspective if required.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Be able to provide clinical supervision to other staff if required and based on experience level.
- Be confident in your role while being open to feedback.
