QUALITY & HSE ENGINEER (R 480,000 - R 720,000 p.a.)

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards, and drive corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide training and support to employees on quality and HSE-related topics to promote awareness and adherence to standards.
- Monitor and analyze quality and HSE performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of processes and systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to automotive quality and HSE management.
Required Skills
- Quality Experience: 3 to 4 years
- Audit Experience: 3 to 4 years
- Hse Experience: 3 to 4 years
- Automotive Experience: 3 to 4 years
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in automotive manufacturing or a similar industry, with a strong understanding of quality management systems and processes.
- Demonstrated experience in HSE management, including knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Experience conducting internal and external audits to assess compliance and drive improvement.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and a commitment to fostering a culture of quality and safety excellence.
- Certification in quality or HSE management (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) is a plus.
