We’re looking for…
We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Sales Executive to join our sales team selling high end, imported furniture. This person will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, ensuring a smooth sales process and processing orders to completion. You should be able to close sales and meet targets. Also includes customer care to current clients.
What’s the role?
You will be responsible for:
- Identifying, researching and qualifying prospective customers, lead generation and lead conversion.
- Handle incoming leads through various channels including emails, phone calls and website enquiries.
- Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads and prospects.
- Closing sales and ensuring monthly and annual sales targets are met.
- Understanding customers’ needs and emphasizing the features of products to align with those needs/requirements and identifying sales opportunities.
- Keeping up with product knowledge and able to answer questions and send additional information.
- Upselling products and services.
- Staying informed about competing products.
- Negotiate prices and payment terms and prepare quotations.
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure a positive overall sales experience.
- Following up with customers to create, maintain and build relationships.
- Creating and maintaining an accurate database of current and potential customers through our CRM system.
- Ensuring the timely update and input of all clients’ details, interactions and tasks into the CRM system and other relevant databases.
- Coordinating and collaborating with the relevant departments for specific delivery requirements or updates that have been discussed with the client, to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing enquiries, resolving issues and managing customer expectations.
- Assist in preparing sales material and documentation as needed.

- Matric
- Previous and proven experience in the retail and design industry.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience.
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience with CRM software such as Zoho CRM or similar.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero or similar.
- Able to generate leads and close deals.
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
