Main purpose of the job:
- Customer Service - Ensure dayly adequate/ controlled staffing in department. Ensure that customer complaints are minimised.
- Liase on an ongoing basis with DC & Suppliers on products, trends, competitors, quality/ quantity of stock.
- Controlling orders, deliveries, displays, in-store promotional activities, product knowledge training, food safety training and wastage controls.
- Conduct weekly stock takes in the department.
- Maintain costings and GP's.
Required Skills
- Management Skills: 2 to 3 years
- Bakery Management: 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
- Good communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- Scheduling - ensure that team are reporting for duty as scheduled
- Have the ability to combat shrinkage
- Discipline - ensure that all problems and queries are sorted consistantly as per the disciplinary procedures
- Stock management by utilizing all relevant reports within the system
- Ability to do costings and GP's
