PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Technical Support Assistant holds a pivotal role in enhancing our institute’s digital capabilities. This individual provides robust support to our digital team and wider staff, ensuring seamless operation and administration of our technical systems. FUNCTION AND OBJECTIVE DETAILS OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS –
1. Digital Platform Support
· Expertise in troubleshooting and user assistance on digital platforms..
· Continuous learning and updating of skills to support emerging digital technologies.
2. Network and Ecosystem Administration
· Effective maintenance and administration of network systems.
· Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 suite, SharePoint, and related ecosystems.
3. Access Management and Team Collaboration
· Accurate management of user access and permissions.
· Promotion of secure and efficient collaboration practices among teams.
4. Software Solution Adoption
· Leadership in the adoption process of new software solutions like Lead squared CRM and ClickUP.
· Facilitation of training and support for Learning Experience Platforms (LXPs).
5. User Support and Technical Assistance
· Provision of dedicated user support for technical issues.
· Assistance with third-party integrations and resolving related technical queries.
6. System Enhancement Collaboration
· Active liaison with service providers to improve system functionalities.
Collaboration with API developers for system enhancement and integration.
Required Skills
- Cloud Computing: 2 to 3 years
- Microsoft 365 ,Share Point: 2 to 3 years
- CRM, LXP Systems: 2 to 3 years
- API Intergrations: 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum qualification required for this position:
· A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Relevant certifications in networking, Microsoft 365, or other pertinent technologies.
2. Minimum experience required for this position:
· At least two years of experience in a technical support or IT administration role.
3. Behavioural skills required for this position:
· Organisational skills
· Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
· A proactive approach to problem-solving and technical troubleshooting.
· Eagerness to engage with emerging technologies and digital trends.
· Strong interpersonal skills, capable of nurturing relationships with colleagues and external partners.

4. Technical skills required:
· A foundational understanding of networking principles and cloud-based solutions.
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and site administration.
· Demonstrated ability to assimilate new technologies swiftly, with a particular emphasis on CRM, project management, and LXP systems.
· Proven track record of managing third-party service providers and overseeing API integrations.
· Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in digital tools and platforms.
