PURPOSE STATEMENT
Wilderness Namibia is looking for a passionate and experience leader to develop and grow the sales within the Namibian Inbound market. The incumbent will also be required to work closely with source market agents in collaboration with the regional Wilderness Sales Managers. The incumbent will be required to work closely with the Managing Director: Namibia to ensure a positive sales and reservations experience for all trade partners. The primary function of this role will be relationship management and the associated sales performance of key trade partners selling Namibia.

KEY FUNCTIONS
- Grow the Inbound business in Namibia by servicing the existing client base.
- Pro-actively seek out new partners to sell Namibia.
- Add insight to group as far as the overall Namibia sales strategy goes and assist with the implementation thereof.
- Promote the Wilderness brand through product training and high-level of service delivery.
- Work closely with the PR and Media team to seek out opportunities to promote the Wilderness Namibia offering.
- Work closely with the Associated Product team to ensure that our Associated Product sales strategy in Namibia is aligned with the greater Wilderness sales strategy.
- Develop and manage the sales budget for Namibian sales.
- Achieve agreed revenue and GP targets for Namibian sales.
- Attend local, regional and international trade shows as and when required. The primary objectives at these shows will be to promote our Namibian product offering, seek out new agent partners and develop and grow existing relationships.
- In collaboration with the regional sales managers, conduct sales trips into key source markets with the primary objective of promoting our Namibian product.
- Prepare sales reports on return from regional and international trips.
- Work closely with the greater Wilderness sales team to ensure that strategies in Namibia are aligned with other inbound strategies as well as key source market strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Tertiary qualification in Sales. A qualification in the field of Travel & Tourism is advantageous
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience, ideally in the travel sector
- Prior experience of growing a brand will be advantageous
- Prior experience in relationship-based selling is advantageous
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel)
- Working knowledge of TourPlan and the Wilderness Window in-house system will be an advantage
