- Manage and update the organisation's website, social media accounts, and email lists, by posting marketing material and updates, and responding to comments and questions.
- Assist with the design, distribution, or delivery of content for marketing of auctions such as brochures, flyers, newspapers, and online advertising, ensuring that corporate identity and brand identity, ‘look & feel’ and tone for the brand are consistent throughout all mediums (newspapers, leaflets, posters, billboards, social media, branding, etc.).
- Assist with the execution of digital and social media campaigns (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) as needed in cooperation with the Project Leads, Online Auction team, and Auction Administration.
- Booking space in newspapers and placement of print ads.
- Communicate progress and updates regularly with project partners.
- Update and maintain the marketing department's registers (marketing material, signage, contracts, suppliers etc.).
- Contribute ideas for improving marketing standards and processes.
- Participate in promotions where necessary.
- Assist with conducting research to identify marketing possibilities and evaluate customer needs in conjunction with the Customer Liaison.

The Junior Marketing Administrator supports the Marketing Manager with the day-to-day marketing activities of Tirhani Auctioneers through traditional and digital marketing campaigns in line with company objectives. Responsibilities include designing marketing materials and providing project-specific administration support.

Candidate Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- 3 years’ experience in a similar marketing role.
- Experience in development of marketing material and brand awareness.
- Proficiency with programs, such as MS Office Package, Corel Draw, Bulk SMS services, Adobe.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or similar qualification advantageous.
Essential Competencies
- Adaptability / flexibility – ability to maintain effectiveness when experiencing changes in work tasks.
- Planning and organising/ work management - ability to plan, schedule, prioritise and control workload effectively.
- Quality commitment /work standards – demonstrates attention to producing a high-quality service, accurately checks processes and tasks.
