Our client is looking for Legal Secretary/Receptionist to undertake a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The goal is to sustain efficiency of all office procedures and case management so to guarantee reliability and consistency.
- Answer telephone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate.
- Welcome clients and visitors and perform initial screening of clients.
- Provide administrative support to Professional Staff/Attorneys.
- Effectively communicate with witnesses, clients, colleagues and partners.
- Type and produce various legal documents such as notices, motions and summonses - Experience in the administration of deceased estates will be advantageous.
- Preserve an updated case record system.
- Maintain and update inventories of contact details.
- Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders.
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12
- Legal Security/ receptionist experience will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of MS Office and Lexpro Litigation & Accounting.
- Must be able to communicate in Afrikaans and English
- Outstanding time-management and typing skills.
- Ability to multitask and be comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people.
