The work entails holistic energy management and energy-saving project identification and
-implementation. Holistic energy management entails but is not limited to inefficiency audits on surface and underground reporting and data analysis.
ETA Engineers spent a lot of time on-site to ensure co-operation with client personnel and to inspire a positive and team-like environment.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum requirements:
· 0-2 years relevant work experience as an Engineer or Engineer in training
· Bachelor's degree in engineering (mining, mechanical or industrial). Non-negotiable.
· South African citizen.
· No criminal record.
· Medically fit to work in deep-level hot mines.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Own vehicle and willing to use it to travel to client sites.
· Willing to stay over in guesthouses (according to the site manager’s discretion).
· Willingness to be on-site for full days on most workdays (according to the site manager’s discretion).
· Flexibility to work over weekends (site and contract managers aim to restrict this to the absolute minimum).
