- Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure their comfort throughout their stay.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate special arrangements and activities for guests, such as game drives, bush walks, and cultural experiences.
- Staff Supervision:
- Provide guidance and support to lodge staff, including housekeeping, kitchen, and maintenance teams.
- Assist in training new employees and conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and excellence.
- Operational Support:
- Assist the Lodge Manager in overseeing daily lodge operations, including front desk activities, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with procurement of supplies and equipment as needed.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards throughout the lodge premises.
- Guest Relations:
- Build strong relationships with guests and anticipate their needs to enhance their overall experience.
- Solicit feedback from guests and address any issues or concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Implement strategies to improve guest loyalty and promote repeat visits.
- Reservations and Bookkeeping:
- Manage lodge reservations, including booking confirmations, cancellations, and modifications.
- Maintain accurate guest records and billing information.
- Assist in budgeting and financial reporting as directed by management.
- Office Management:
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and filing documents.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment in good working condition.
- Assist with record-keeping and data entry tasks as needed.

Candidate Requirements

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of reservation systems and basic accounting principles.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for wildlife and conservation is desirable but not essential.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the lodge is located.
