KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Superintendent II, Engineering TMM
The Kamoa Copper Mine, is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometers west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To monitor, coordinate and support TM3 maintenance and breakdown teams, and ensure the availability of TM3 machines to meet production targets. The incumbent supervises specialists. The scope/portfolio of this role includes ensuring the department is sufficiently resourced in terms of equipment, tools and trained personnel, and acting as a key liaison figure between department staff, management, and stakeholders.
You will have the following:- OEM machines specific experience
- Diesel machines, auto-electrical and hydraulic knowledge
- Fluency in French and English preferred. Swahili and Mandarin advantageous
- Experience in the mining environment critical
- 5-10 years as a Foreman with relevant experience in TM3 environment, with exposure to a wide variety of scenarios and challenges and personnel management responsibilities

- Ensure the availability of TM3 machines for the benefit of mining production and business continuity

- Function as a TM3 Engineering subject matter expert
