COMPLIANCE ADMINISTRATORWe are looking for someone to join our team in the role of Compliance Administrator. We arelooking for someone who has excellent computer literacy with advanced skills in using Excel,someone who is responsible, quick, and accurate. Previous experience in working with FMCGproducts and administration is a must. Experience in a compliancy role would be advantageous.
Key responsibilities would include:
1. Monitoring market regulations and guidelines to determine their impact on imports into the
markets in which we trade. This includes staying up to date with changes in labelling,
ingredient, and packaging regulations and guidelines.
2. Reviewing and approving label designs and formats to ensure accuracy and compliance with
relevant markets.
3. Maintaining and updating label-related records and documentation
4. Requesting and scrutinise manufacturing declarations from suppliers to ensure compliancy
in markets for shipments.
5. Creating compliant manufacturing declarations (where required) on supplier templates for
each relevant shipment.
Key characteristics:
1. Attention to detail: Must have strong attention to detail and able to easily identify
discrepancies within a large amount of information.
2. Knowledge of regulations: A good understanding of import regulations, standards, and laws,
within the markets that we operate. And to be able to apply this knowledge effectively.
3. Strong communication skills: Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with the team and our clients. Must be able to handle pressure and deadlines.
4. Organisational skills: Must be able to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks including
manufacturing declarations.
5. Problem-solving skills: Must be able to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner, often
in collaboration with other departments.
6. Adaptability: Must be able to adapt to changes in regulations and be proactive in ensuring
the organisation stays compliant.
7. Ethical standards: Must have a strong sense of ethics and integrity.
8. Perfectionist: Must hold themselves to a high standard of work
9. Proactive: Must be able to work independently and apply own initiative to projects and
workflow.
Minimum requirements:
- Need to have completed matric, tertiary education would be advantageous.
- Fully computer literate (Word / Adobe Acrobat / Teams)
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Previous experience in administration of FMCG products
- Ideally experience in a compliance role
- Experience in project management would be a bonus
- Knowledge of Bartender labelling software advantageous
