Responsibilities Includes
- Manage the content and permissions for the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform ensuring that access is correctly controlled and all marketing assets including Meridian Group corporate identity, portfolio and brand assets are correctly updated, maintained and filed.
- Contributing to the conceptualization, development and creation of content for web, newsletters, social media and other digital platforms. Following the briefing process to ensure relevant, quality content is consistently and timeously created and delivered.
- Coordination of all website requirements including concept and creation of new sites as well as updating, maintaining and optimizing all online websites for the company and clients, ensuring accuracy of content and attention to detail.
- Contribute to the development, scheduling and management of all content on social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. Manage sharing of relevant content from clients and industry bodies and ensure timeous and responsive community management.
- Track and analyze the performance of content on web, social and online platforms on a monthly basis.
- Keep in touch with industry trends and technologies to identify ways of optimizing opportunities for improved performance and delivery.
- Compose and contribute web and content reports based on analytics with insights and actions to improve, boost and grow the efficiency of web and online platforms.
- Develop relationships as an important point of contact for content for colleagues, clients, agencies and suppliers.
- Work closely with the marketing team to collaborate with internal and external cross-functional and project teams to facilitate communication and status reviews within the scope of this role.
- Support the Marketing events team with planning and execution of events, assisting with the set-up, hosting and break-down where and when required.
- Assist with email marketing and content creation requirements for the Trade Marketing team. Interest, learn, develop.
- Assist with basic photography requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Grade 12
- Tertiary education: Degree or Diploma in Marketing Management, Communications or Business studies.
- Wine Certificate (Beneficial)
- 3-5 years experience working in a digital administration/marketing role or with an agency.
- Content management, data collection and data analysis experience (Beneficial).
