· Ensure ISO compliance within the recruitment process
· Develop and implement an appropriate recruitment strategy linked to the overall objectives and budgetary requirements of the region in conjunction with the Regional Director / Operations Director and / or General Manager
· Recruitment of permanent staff in line with the Company’s recruitment and appointment procedures
· Effectively manage recruitment teams and staffing requirements to achieve the set goals and targets for the branch and / or region
· Ensure accurate planning in respect of resources required and allocation of same in order to ensure the achievement of targets
· Manage non-performance in line with the appropriate Company procedures and / or in conjunction with the IR Department
· Be actively involved and manage the start-up of new contracts to ensure quality staff is supplied
· Establish client job specification(s) and plan recruitment cycle
· Coordinate existing and new job specifications as per the clients’ criteria / client job specification
· Ensure that a minimum of 95% of specs are filled as required
· Research and use pro-active techniques when sourcing, to ensure that the best available candidates in the market are sourced
· Search existing databases and external job portals for suitable candidates for vacant positions
· Maintain an updated database of skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled candidates
· Ensure that all new candidate information is recorded and kept up to date on Recruit Zone
· Provide services to the client in a timely, professional and pleasant manner
· Maintain the values of the Company in all interactions
· Ensure that all recruitment is conducted in a legal and ethical manner
· Ensure effective typing of correspondence and taking of minutes, as and when required
· Physically engage and pro-actively recruit within communities living around the specified clients, as required
· Ensure confidentiality of client and / or Company information
· Adhere to POPI stipulations
· Prepare Employment Tax Incentive (ETI) information for weekly / monthly meetings as required by the General Manager and / or Regional Director
· Compile relevant information of individual focus areas and strategies implemented
· Submit progress reports as required to management on a weekly basis
· Ensure that all relevant parties receive the required information timeously
· Monitor stipulated focus areas, indicate shortfalls, assist with challenges and reiterate the importance of ETI and the importance of creating / maintaining pools of ETI compliant staff
· Analyse the branch ETI tracker and compile a report on a weekly basis
· Prepare stats in respect of claims, specific areas of concern and youth growth on a monthly basis
· Assist branches with queries as and when required
· Communicate effectively with all stakeholders by adhering to the core values of the Company, the Code of Business Conduct and the Stakeholder Engagement policy
· Assist with training as required
· Coordinate branches available positions to be advertised via selected media platforms, such as radio
· General administration and filing
Candidate Requirements
- Matric
- Minimum of 5 years recruitment experience
- Good understanding of the TES Industry and ETI legislation
- Knowledge and understanding of recruitment processes and procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of interpreting job specifications
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Previous managerial experience would be advantageous
