- Internal practical training of employees in the quality control department.
- Infrared testing and releasing of raw material samples to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identification of raw materials that should be rejected and disposing of them.
- Management and record keeping of analysis reports of both finished goods and raw materials.
- Ensuring that process checks are performed to ensure uniformity, quality, correct procedure being followed, accuracy and quality and revising the results of these checks in the analytical laboratory.
- Testing of the quality of returned goods, reporting the faults and ensuring that the quality of the product and future batches of the product complies with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Assisting in document control and distribution.
- Perform all required analytical tests according to Good Laboratory Practices.
- Quality control check of first sample.
- Compiling and completing finished product spec sheets for clients.
- Management of traceability of raw material retention samples.
- Assisting Responsible Pharmacist / Quality Assurance Leader with internal, external and vendor audits.
- Perform analytical testing with regards to method and cleaning validation.
- Perform analytical tests for cleaning validation.
- Assist the Responsible Pharmacist / Quality Assurance Leader (RP / QAL) to maintain standard operating procedures or local working practices.
- Assist Responsible Pharmacist / Quality Assurance Leader (RP / QAL) with root cause investigations if necessary (eg. Customer / technical complaints).
- Release of CoA’s to customers.
- Good housekeeping practices to be followed.
- To ensure that quality standards and specifications of the clients are met regarding the finished goods samples.
- Investigating the cause of packaging materials faults, correcting the faults and retesting the goods for quality.
- Ensuring that process checks are performed to ensure uniformity, quality, correct procedure being followed, accuracy and quality and revising the results of these checks in the manufacturing area.

Job summary:
The Quality Control / Analytical Lab Leader must aid in implementing quality assurance systems at every level of production and ensure the satisfaction of the clients with the final product. To ensure that all analytical tests and processes are implemented and must comply with GLP.
Job responsibilities:
