The following opportunity is on offer for a creative self-starter and service orientated candidate to take a proactive and assertive approach to promote and boost sales and revenue within the company’s lighting product range.
SALES CONSULTANT - LIGHTING
Upington
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent, a interior design, draughtman, architectural technician or decorator qualification will be advantageous.
· Experience in a sales environment preferably in electrical and lighting, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and bringing in new clients.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans & English.
· Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Must be tenacious and able to handle conflict and pressure in a professional manner.
· Strong administrative and numerical skills.
· Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suit and familiarity with an ERP system.
· Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities include:
· Successfully handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient coordination and timely delivery of products.
· Drive sales growth & promote and sell lighting solutions to the hospitality industry, architects and interior designers, engineers and developers as well as residential projects and private decorative lighting customers.
· Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
· Assist procurement with market trends, customer needs product selection and continuously monitor stock levels.
· Oversee the different lighting displays areas.
· Participate in bi-annual stock take.
· Help with daily stock counts.
· Ensure store and workstation is always tidy and clean.
