- Responsible for maintaining the supply and demand of inventory, and ensuring that there are adequate stocks available.
- Planning and Organizing Stock and Tool issues.
- Plan receiving of all stock.
- Keeping track of what is available in inventory, tools and equipment.
- Monitor current stock levels and tools to decide if more should be ordered, as well as organizing existing inventory, so it is easily and safely accessible.
- Ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Responsible for monitoring where the inventory is going.
- Responsible for accepting all deliveries of stock. This includes ensuring that they are not damaged and that everything ordered is present and accounted for.
- Ensure accurate labelling of all stock.
- Ensuring the safety and security of the stock.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Conduct monthly stock allocations and stock take.
- Compile reports for slow moving stock.
- Complete GRV’s for stock received.
- Do stock corrections as needed.
- Stock take preparations and execution.
- Distribution Centre Stock Replenishment reporting
- New Stock Range addition recommendations.
- Ad-hoc duties as required by branch.
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a stock control position.
- Computer Literate, especially excel.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- Good communication skills (written and oral).
- Driver’s license will be advantageous
- Ability to work in a team.
- Problem Solving Skills.
