Our client is a dynamic, third-generation family export and international brand development business based in Durban. They export leading FMCG, building materials, and general merchandise brands to over 55 countries around the world. Established in 1972, we now have subsidiary businesses in several international markets. We are searching for a creative and technically skilled graphic designer to join our fun and vibrant marketing team. The ideal candidate can create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media platforms and will have strong creative flair, is skilled in turning briefs into compelling designs, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The role:

• Design a broad range of visual material including adverts, catalogues, presentations, packaging, billboards, logos, flyers, and POS material.
• Design social media content.
• Design and creation of videos
• Set up material for print (DTP)
• Understand, interpret, and apply various companies’ brand guidelines.
• Understand briefs and convert them into creative solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and visual understanding of brand DNA.
• Ability to take onboard and action creative feedback and constructive criticism.
• Meet tight deadlines and take responsibility for the quality of agreed deliverables.

 What we’re looking for:

• Diploma in Graphic Design
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint and ideally Figma or similar.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-performance work environment.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer.
