Position available for a Senior Electrical/Electronic Engineer with 4-6 years experience in electrical harness on vehicles as well as all electrical aspects. Will also someone with electrical System Engineering skills for Military vehicle designs. International Projects across several continents. Designs done in SA. Manufacturing abroad.

ELECTRONIC ENGINEER/ SYSTEM ENGINEER: AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRONIC DESIGN

Pretoria- East

Electrical / electronic design activities on vehicles and the responsibility to manage external suppliers and subcontractors

QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate Degree in Electronic Engineering, or
B-Tech Degree in Electrical/electronic Engineering

SOFTWARE CAPABILITY
Ideally not essential: Unigraphics or other CAD experience & Siemens Team centre 11 or relevant PDM system

EXPERIENCE

4 – 6 years relative Electrical Engineering experience in an Automotive field.
Previous experience in the military vehicle environment advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Electrical design aspecs of vehicles/ automotive
Project engineering
Electrical / Electronic system engineering.
Electrical Design and Development partner management.
Design implementation and qualification, usually up to manufacturing Baseline.
Resolution of problematic fielded systems (local and international)
Responsible for all electrical design, development, simulation and testing
