Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the Manufacturing Sector is looking to employ a Program Manager - Strategy to join their dynamic team in Middelburg.
Coordinate cross-project activities, and specifically manage and coordinate the availability of human resources shared between the projects teams.
Assist project owners in the formulation of projects in accordance with corporate directions.
Liaise with and assist the project owners in the development, management and reporting of the projects charters.
Communicate and liaise with the Strategy Department in Madrid regarding project progress.
Liaise with the companies Finance Department as well as the Manufacturing to ensure the correct benefit calculations for all projects, as well as for the follow-up of the projects.
Apply change, risk and resource management.
Prepare reports for project owners, senior management, and senior management.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in leading staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics for ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high quality standard.
A minimum of 5 years proven project management experience with at least some program management experience is required. Project management experience must include experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and functions.
Highly effective people management, team building and communication skills (written and spoken).
Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage.
Outstanding leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability.
BSc/BEng/BIT or any NQF level 7 degree with specialisation in project management. Additional or specialised project management qualifications (e.g. PPM, PMP, MPM) will be an advantage.
