We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Long Term Insurance Broker to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for providing expert guidance and advice to clients regarding various long-term insurance policies, including but not limited to life insurance, disability insurance, risk products, investments, and annuities. The successful candidate will need to develop strong relationships with clients, understand their unique needs, and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
Responsibilities: - Analyse client needs and objectives to determine appropriate long-term insurance products and services. - Educate and advise clients on insurance policies, explaining coverage, benefits, and exclusions in a clear manner. - Keep up to date insurance products and providers as per legislation continue giving appropriate advice and record keeping. - - Assess clients' financial situations, including income, expenses, assets and liabilities, to provide ongoing, suitable financial products and advice. - Prepare and present personalized insurance proposals to clients, effectively communicating premiums, terms and conditions. - Complete necessary paperwork, applications, and forms speedy processing of applications. - Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums on behalf of clients. - Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, handling claims, and servicing them timeously. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. - Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and insurance products through continuous learning and professional development.

- NQF4, RE5 (non-negotiable), Class of Business Long-Term Insurance (min. 120 credits)
- Proven work experience as an Insurance Broker or a similar role, specializing in long-term insurance. - Strong knowledge of various long-term insurance products, including risk products, investments, and annuities. - Excellent knowledge of various insurers products.
- Excellent understanding of Investment products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Exceptional sales and negotiation abilities, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and client satisfaction.
- Outstanding customer service skills, with a client-centric approach and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
