An excellent opportunity has become available to join a leader within the medical device industry, as a Junior Design Engineer. The role is based in the Cape Town area.

• Research, concept development, product design and development
• Manufacturing of device concepts
• Testing of device concepts
• Liaising with suppliers and 3rd parties for manufacturing of components (custom mechanical parts, tooling, stock parts, etc.)
• Setup test protocols and orderly documenting of all developments/experiments run
• Verification testing
• Test protocol writing
• Test report writing
• Compliance with medical device regulatory requirements
