Sales and Marketing Key Accounts (FMCG) – Remote - Market Related Salary

The purpose of this role will be to develop the marketing, sales and brand plan to meet the company strategy.

Requirements:

·       5 years’ experience in Marketing and Sales withing the FMCG Industry

·       BCom Marketing Management Degree or similar qualifications (Advantageous)

Key Responsibilities: 

·       Responsible for developing and maintaining a positive company image and service levels based on integrity and good values.

·       Maintaining financial controls and internal control systems for your division.

·       Ensure Regulatory and Compliance Act for your division.

·       Corporate networking and client building.

·       Drive maximum profitable sales for the company and all sourced products through trust and personal contact with customers in collaboration with the company, with all customers, by becoming a value-added partner to these customers promoting product development, quality and sales.

·       Manage all staff, equipment and intellectual property of your division in line with company values and strategy.

·       Develop the retail sales and marketing platform for the company in South Africa.

·       Prepare offers and professional presentations to customers and obtain order in line with agreed annual budget. Offer prices and volumes to be agreed and signed off by Marketing Director based on agree FCA prices. Once a price has been signs off and an offer made based on this price, it remains company or outsider suppliers’ responsibility to produce and deliver accordingly. Except where Force Majeure applies.

·       Deliver sales presentations to customers by planning each customer visit with specific objectives; develop and maintain the customer’s interest; overcome objections, claims and challenges positively; reframing product features into customer benefits and the competent use of relevant literature and new market trends. Supported with relevant information from the company.

·       Give feedback to Exco, with full accurate minutes of all customer meetings, including special requirements for each presentation, best time to see, and specific requirements for growth.

·       Maintain and develop product awareness for these customers of products in the Market Co product range. Category, company developments, customers they supply (if available) and competitors. This will also include a full and complete knowledge of the new product trends and information on Market Co’s product category

·       Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all documentation after customer visits (Sample & New Product Request forms. New Product specifications, PO requests etc) and reports on any special product requirements from customers, handling of enquiries and complaints quickly and professionally.

·       Contribute positively to the company and strategic suppliers through cooperative relationships and collaborative efforts to achieve team goals. This will include input into budget planning, sales target forecasting and marketing procedures and strategy as required.

·       Convene a strategy meeting every second month to define and evaluate strategy and performance.

·       Ensure the prompt transmission of relevant information from the customers back to the relevant company or strategic customer departments.

·       Ensure the prompt reporting of adverse events or complaints to the relevant company or Strategic customer department.
