Our client in the Travel Industry is looking for a dynamic, organized and detail-orientated Finance Administrator to join their team based in Stellenbosch.

Please note this position is available as a 6-month contract.

Overall Job Purpose:

This role primarily focuses on supporting the debtors and creditors' functions within the finance department. As a Finance Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely management of financial transactions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management of debtors and creditors such as processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.


• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.


• Monitor and follow-up on outstanding payments and resolve any discrepancies.


• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the smooth flow of financial operations.


• Prepare regular financial reports and summaries.


• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.


• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.


• Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role (must), with exposure to debtors and creditors functions (preferable).


• Proficient in financial software and systems (e.g., Xero, Excel).


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Excellent organizational and time management skills.


• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Knowledge of travel industry financial processes and systems is a plus.


• Relevant finance or accounting qualifications would be advantageous.

Salary Range: R10 000-R15 0000
