A dynamic company based in Morningside is looking for a Junior Accountant

Duties:

• Reporting to the Senior Finance Accountant
• Supports operations department and finance department by collecting, analysing, investigating, and reporting financial and operational data

Inventory Management:

• Verify stock count variances relating to hardware and starter packs
• Investigation of discrepancies and problem solving
• Ensuring all stocked is delivered by supplier to customer
• Stock adjustment requests and queries
• Track and maintain inventory records
• Track undelivered stock credits

Financial Duties:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare sales analysis report – starter packs for each dealer at cost or markup price
• Prepare debtors monthly report
• Assist ops and finance team with audits and collating data 

Operational duties:

• Send Monthly Statements to all Trade Partners
• Maintain update to records of dealers (contact numbers, physical address etc)
• Maintain Filing and Record keeping related to all Trade Partners
• Assist with Distribution of any Marketing Elements supplied by Vodacom to Top Performing Traders.
• Assist Sales and Ops with follow up phone calls to Traders to discuss channel Performance and Operational issues.
• Assist Ops with monthly Trader Channel analyses and Feedback to Traders
• Mobile contracts and mobile upgrades 
• Opening new L accounts 
• Calculation of daily connections and recharges for each dealer 
• Airtime loads on SIMS – When needed

Other:

• Performing any other reasonable tasks upon request from Financial Manager/Head of Operations 
• Ensure that a sound accounting and operational procedures are always maintained
