Our well-established client in the CBD of Cape Town is a premium leather goods company looking for a dedicated and dependable Machinist to stich leather and material manufactured goods.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE :           Permanent / Temporary
SECTOR                        :           Manufacturing
START DATE :           A.S.A.P / Immediate

DUTIES:

Examine detailed drawings / specifications to establish job, material and equipment requirements
Program and set up machines
Perform routine and preventative maintenance practices on existing equipment
Produce products that meet the required standards
Set up and operate machines as required
Check accuracy and qualify of completed products
Abide by H & S regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric
Good hand-eye co-ordination
Hands on practical approach to work
Knowledge of H & S regulations
Able to work under challenging conditions
Sound communication skills (speak, read and write English)
Prepared to work over time as required

HOURS:

08:00 – 17:00 (Mon – Fri)
08:00 – 13:00 (alt Sat)
