We are currently looking for an Account Executive to join our Johannesburg team.
KPI's:
SLA contract management :
- Be aware of SLAs and SLA service levels
- Receive and process feedback on reached targets or breaches
- Manage client expectations
- Process escalations from clients
- Contact teams responsible for escalations or breaches in order to ensure that the issues are resolved
- Drive teams to meet SLA requirements within specified parameters
- Manage breaches of SLA
Sales:
- Manage hardware, software and project labour sales
- Provide sales quotes and competitive pricing
- Provide project services sourcing for all work outside of SLAs
- Ensure implementation of hardware and software
- Liaise between clients and project managers to receive timelines, labour quotes, provide project quotes to clients and gain client signoff or approval
Solutions:
- Advise IT requirements and solutions after consulting with clients
- Understand and translate business requirements into IT solutions
Client relations:

Build trust and good relationships with clients, contacts and end users

Meet with clients on a monthly basis to receive feedback

Report on monthly performance, response time and infrastructures
Revenue growth:
- Build roadmaps for 2 to 3 years of infrastructure growth and implementation
- Build own revenue growth and secure long-term deals
- Strive for SLA upsells
- Align with 2% consumer price index increases
Monitor client profitability:
- Review client reports from CFO and provide high priority care to most profitable clients
Required Skills
- Account Management: 7 to 8 years
- Sales: 5 to 6 years
- Cloud Computing: 5 to 6 years
- Contract Negotiation Skills: 5 to 6 years
Candidate Requirements
Minimum qualifications and experience:
The candidate will require at least 7 years experience being in an Account Executive (Account Manager).
If your background is from a Microsoft house / vendor (this would be an added advantage).
Having a proven sales (farming) record will be an added advantage as well
IT Diploma or Degree (extremely advantageous)
