Top Automotive Manufacturing firm seeks Quality Manager - Automotive Manufacturing. To ensure the quality of manufactured automotive components.

Non-Negotiables (We will check):

*  5 years Automotive Quality Systems (IATF & ISO)

*  5 years Leading a large quality team (90+ people)

*  5 years Statistical Process Control, 8D, PFMEA, RCAs

*  5 years Building Relationships with OEMs

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Automotive Manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

*  Lead a large team of 90 people to ensure quality practices adhered to

*  Utilise IATF to ensure compliance to best practices

*  Provide technical assistance for issues like RCAs, 8D and PFMEA

*  Oversee MIS systems to ensure correct quality data is available

*  Develop close working relationship with customer

Key Job Deliverables:

*  Ensure that company achieves consistent White Cards from Ford (Top Quality Rating)

*  Build a solid working relationship with OEMs

*  Ensure compliance to quality best practices & systems

Qualifications & Background work experience:

*  BTech or NDip Quality, or BTech or NDip Industrial Engineering

*  An in-depth understanding of automotive quality processes like IATF and ISO

*  Leading a large and diverse quality team to ensure that organisational quality standards are adhered to and maintained. Includes running audits of quality.

*  Technical quality techniques like SPC, 8D & RCAs

*  Strong people person who is able to get client on their side and keep them happy.

*  Advantageous: Specific experience dealing with Ford

Personality Summary:

Salary: Market Related. In the Range of R480K to R720K per annum. Highly exceptional more senior candidates may be considered.
