Defining / driving an HR strategy aligned with the business' purpose and vision.
Driving the recruitment strategy and partnering with hiring managers and the recruitment team to ensure quality placements.
Training staff on interview techniques and processes.
Managing the induction and on-boarding process.
Enabling and driving reward and recognition in line with company culture and values.
Providing leadership and direction to the HR / Recruitment team.
Partnering with Operations to reduce attrition and identify and address barriers to retention.
Ensuring HR policies and procedures are kept updated and communicated to staff.
Submitting the annual skills development plan in consultation with management, and coordinating the annual leadership development programme.
Taking overall responsibility for EE and related activities in line with legislation.
Providing input into and assisting with the annual B-BBEE audit.
Consulting / advising management and staff on labour relations issues, and partnering with Operations to effectively manage and resolve misconduct, poor performance, etc.
Compiling / presenting monthly management reports on key HR outputs.
Coordinating the company performance management and feedback process and ensuring that all employees are trained in the application of the performance platform.
Managing the bi-annual salary increase and promotion process.
Maintaining / providing input into various HR systems.
Degree / Diploma with a specialisation in Human Resources
Relevant Skills / Experience:
10+ years' experience in an HR Generalist / HR Manager role.
Experience in the IT / Professional Services Industry.
In-depth knowledge of employment / labour laws, regulations and HR best practice.
Registration with the SABPP is advantageous.
Advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office).
SAGE 300 People advantageous.
